THE LAST JOURNEY OF ITS KIND.

Expedition Hope is a unique adventure. Unique in the true sense of the word. That’s because the poles are melting — and the path that Bernice Notenboom is treading, on behalf of the children of Plant-for-the-Planet, will soon cease to exist if we fail to act.

BACKGROUND

IT’S A LONG WAY TO A BETTER WORLD. WE’RE ALREADY LEADING THE WAY.

We, that is Plant-for-the-Planet, Bernice Notenboom and her team, and the supporters of this expedition.

The expedition sets off on 2 April 2014; 600 miles by foot from the North Pole to Canada. The goal: draw attention to the fight of the children of Plant-for-the-Planet against global warming, against the melting of the poles and for more climate justice. We want to convince people from all over the world move to plant trees for a better world.

On this site you can get to know the expedition team better and follow their journey. You can also learn more about the organisers and the background to the expedition. Naturally, you also have the opportunity to get involved with the project.

SUPPORT PLANT-FOR-THE-PLANET
AND EXPEDITION HOPE!

We children of Plant- for-the-Planet have been fighting for climate justice for years. With the planting of new trees, we want to mitigate the effects of global warming – and to save places like the Arctic!

For us, Expedition Hope is a unique chance to bring our message to people all over the world:

The Arctic is in danger.
We have to act now.
We have to plant trees now.
